Be Ready For Band Camp!
This is a quick reminder that marching band is a physical activity. Please make sure your child has a physical on file BEFORE band camp. Also, in order to prep for camp, get in the habit of drinking water now. Without replenishing your water, you will be extra tired, unfocused, and start to feel sick. If you get into the habit of drinking water now, your body will be more accustom to it come camp. This also means me too (and you know how much I love my diet Coke)!
Also, some important things to consider bringing to band camp:
· Close toe shoes - If not, your feet will be a mangled mess for weeks!
· Sunscreen - 90% of band camp is outside. Spray yourself ALL THE TIME
· Water bottle - We provide the water. Help eliminate waste
· Sunglasses - We look into the sun a lot…not on purpose, we just like good form!
